Shield Wires

Shield is a ground conductor and the reference point for the voltage. Shield wire is implemented in many communication cables.  Shielded cable consists one or more than one insulated conductors, that’s why it is also referred as a category of multicore.  They are composed of copper braided strands which are again wrapped with a copper tape. Shield protects signals from electrical penetration and simultaneously reduces electromagnetic radiation.
