Fluorescent light sources like Tubelights (36W 4FT T8, 18W 2FT T8, 28W 4FT T5, 14W 2FT T5), retrofit CFLs (ranging from 5W to 85W in B22/E27/E40 base) & all types of PLC/PLS/PLL Lamps of all color temp (6500K, 4000K & 2700K) are now OBSOLETE, as the market has evolved to LEDs due to their lower power consumption, higher efficacy and much longer burning hours life.

Hence, there is extremely limited supply of above items availability in the market. We strongly recommend all our clients to buy reserve stocks and also be flexible in brand acceptance between Philips, Osram, Wipro, Bajaj, Anchor, Asian and equivalent brands. Also the prices may highly fluctuate.

Osram 10W LED PL Lamp, that fits in exactly the same downlighter/connector as an 18W PLC CFL Lamp. It offers the same level of light output but uses only half the power of the PL lamps. This PL LED Lamp life span is 15,000 hours, and comes with 2 years replacement warranty.

If the downlighter uses magnetic/copper ballasts, then just replace the PLC Lamp with the LED and no wiring change is required. For Downlighters with electronic ballasts, the ballast wiring needs to be cut, so that the LED Lamp can be powered directly by 220V AC Mains.
